How To Install MIUI 9 For Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is one of the most successful mid-range smartphones from the Chinese company and it received a lot of supports from the community with several custom ROMS, root access, custom TWRP recoveries, etc. The latest official MIUI 9 is now available for Note 4/4X and many people are also expecting a MIUI 9 port version before its official launch. After a long wait, the Redmi Note 3 finally the got the latest MIUI 9 ROM port based on Android 7.0 Nougat, which is developed by TurkDevs Team. 


However, the ROM is currently for the KENZO variant with Snapdragon SoC, which is the pro version of Redmi Note 3. Since it’s the initial build, so there are a few small bugs at first. However, most of the import features like the boots up, Camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and much more are still working good. If you feel interested this new MIUI version and want to install it on your Redmi Note 3, here is the step-by-step guide to flash it. As it is a custom package, so your device must be rooted and install the latest TWRP recovery. Most importantly, you must unlock bootloader your Redmi Note 3.
Steps To Install MIUI 9 Port On Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
  • First, download the MIUI 9 Port &AGNi_pureMIUI-N_v10.4+ (optional) onto your computer.
  • Plug your Redmi Note 3 to your PC using a standard USB cable and move the ROM and the optional files into the internal storage of your device.
  • After that, power off your phone, detach the USB cable, and boot it into the custom TWRP recovery mode.
  • Here, select “wipe data/factory reset”, “wipe cache partition” and “wipe dalvik  cache” from the menu to wipe data of your Redmi Note 3 so that there is no bugs with the new Rom.
  • Then choose the “Install” option and flash the MIUI 9 ROM on your device.
  • Once done, tap on No and continue to flash AGNi_pureMIUI-N_v10.4 .
  • Wait for the process to finish and choose “reboot now”.
