How to Install MIUI 9 ROM (Fastboot) on Xiaomi Phone
1. Once you have downloaded the Fastboot ROM for your Xiaomi phone, extract the file using WinRAR or WinZip.
3. Now, switch off your phone and boot it into the Fastboot mode. To do this, hold Volume Down + Power buttons for at least 10 seconds.
4. Plug the phone to your computer and launch Mi Flash Tool
5. Click on the select button and choose the folder where you extracted the Fastboot ROM file.
6. Then click the refresh button and Mi Flash Tool will then recognize the files and display your device info on the screen.
7. Select the middle “save user data” option in Mi Tool Flash if you don’t want to delete all your data
8. Now click the flash button to start the installation
9. Once done, your phone will reboot.
