Official Android 7.0 Nougat For Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro

After a long wait, the official Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update is available for Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro. You can now update your device to the Android 7.0 Nougat through A910FXXU1BQHB firmware version. The new Android 7.0 comes with a range of great Android Nougat’s features, improvement enhancement, the existing bug fixes, and the Android security fixes for the month of August for your A9 Pro. 


If you want to upgrade your Smartphone, here is step-by-step guide for you. Follow the steps given in this post to easily update your device to the Android 7.0 Nougat. However, before getting started, you should meet certain requirements first so that your update will be successful. Take a quick look on the pre-requirements. 

Pre-requisites
  • Back up all important data and files of your Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, as it will delete all your important data.
  • A computer and an original USB cable are required for the update.
  • Your computer must be pre-loaded with the Samsung USB driver as it helps you connect your device to your PC more easily. If not installed, then you should download and install it on your PC from here.

Steps to Update Galaxy A9 Pro to Android 7.0 Nougat
  • At first download the Android 7.0 Nougat zip file for your Samsung Galaxy A9 pro and  Odin v3.12.zip, here, then extract both on the desktop of your computer.
  • Then boot your Samsung Galaxy into download mode by first switching off the phone and then pressing its ‘Volume Down’ + ‘Power’ + ‘Home’ buttons at a same time. After that, press the ‘Volume Up’ button after you see a warning message on your screen to put your device into the download mode.
  • Now, plug your phone to your computer using a USB cable and launch Odin app.
  • The button-left corner of Odin will display ID:COM with Blue color after the connection is successful.
  • Now click on “AP” section in Odin and choose the “.tar.md5″ file from the extracted Android 7.0 Nougat folder. Make sure you have already unchecked the re-partition option first.
  • Next, click on the “Auto-reboot” and press the “Start” button. The update process will take around 10-15 minutes. Wait till your Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro to reboot.
