How To Turn A Single SIM Into Dual SIMs On Galaxy S7/S7 Edge

Dear all Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge users! As you know, it’s been two years since the first release of the duo Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge. There is a dual-sim version of Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge (G930 FD & G935FD) for selected markets. Those who don’t know, Samsung’s hidden the dual sim support on the single SIM version. So, if you are using a single sim Galaxy S7/ S7 Edge version, keep reading this post to turn your single sim S7/ S7 Edge into the dual sim version.

Here is step-by-step guide to turn your S7/S7 Edge from one sim into dual sim

1.      Download the Z3X Samsung Tool Pro (28.2) from this link

2.      Download Samsung USB drivers and install it on your computer

3.      Extract, install and then crack the Z3x Tool by running the loader.exe file. (remember to disable any antivirus software on your computer first)

4.      Launch the Z3x Tool

5.      Now, choose your phone model and click on Backup Tab

6.      Connect your phone to your computer and click on Read CERT

Note: After the read CERT is done, open the folder containing it. Go to C:\Program Files (X86)\Z3X\ Samsung Tool\ Samsung Tool Pro\backup\ CERT

7.      Now, open CERT using Notepad

There are two methods for editing.

Method 1:

·        Copy from IMEI= to the end of CERT and its part below

·        Change

IMEI into IMEI2

ImeiSign into ImeiSign2

PubKey into PubKey2

PubKeySign into PubKeySign2

Method 2:

·        Add number 2 for IMEI2

IMEI into IMEI2

ImeiSign into ImeiSign2

PubKey into PubKey2

PubKeySign into PubKeySign2

And then save the file.

8.      Now, it’s time to root your phone: you can refer this post to get the root file

9.      Once your phone is rooted, rewrite the CERT that you have recently added 2

Wait for your phone to reboot and enjoy the result.
