Steps To Install Google Apps On Chinese Android Phones
Before starting the process, there are a few certain prerequisites you should follow before proceeding.
- Your device should be pre-installed a TWRP or CWM custom recovery.
- USB Debugging should be enabled in Settings>Developer Options.
After you have checked outall the requirements, follow the given steps:
Step 1 – Download GApps package for your Android phone, you should download the compatible GApps package for your current version on your Android phone.
Step 2 – After downloading the compatible GApps package, copy it to your device.
Step 3 – Switch off your phone and boot it into the custom recovery mode. Usually, you hold and press Volume Down and Power buttons for about 5 seconds, but it still depends on the combination keys of each model.
Step 4 – In recovery mode,
- For TWRP Recovery: tap Install and choose the package you downloaded.
- For CWM Recovery: tap on install zip from sdcard… and then load the package you downloaded.
Step 5 – Once installing the package is complete, reboot the device and you should see Google Apps on your device.
If you did everything correctly, all Google Apps will appear on your Home screen.
